Jerry Howard

Jerry Howard is an executive mentor, speaker and author. Actively writing for over 20 years, he has published both fiction and non-fiction work. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jerry earned his MBA with a specialization in Marketing while serving on active duty. His executive background is in hospital administration and business ownership. A serial entrepreneur, Jerry has led, purchased and owned multiple seven and eight figure businesses, but since writing Shakespearean sonnets and poems in high school and college, he has always had a passion for the creative writing community.

Thus, it should be no surprise that he is the Founder and Chief Marketing Officer for Anchor & Light Press. As a business leader and consultant, Jerry excels at aligning business KPIs with God’s KPIs in the small and medium-sized business community. These skills allow Anchor & Light Press to deliver exceptional and unmatched value to each author in our family. Publishing excellence begins with top notch team members who feed on exceeding expectations and delivering excellence at every step of the publishing process. With 20 years of experience at managing great teams and efficient business systems, Jerry leads Anchor & Light Press to produce superior results at a fraction of the cost.

Jerry has been married for over 20 years, has 4 children, and enjoys active sports such as snowboarding and mountain biking. Most mornings, Bourbon Pecan coffee and God’s word occupy his time, but writing and contemporary classical music creep their way into any spare time that his kids have not already filled. Occasionally, you’ll find him wrinkling pavement on his Harley, yet he finds no greater joy than learning to be a better disciple of Jesus.
